Line 2. Corrosion Studies in real time of highly alloyed stainless steels at high temperatures
The objective of this research line is to study the corrosion behaviour of highly alloyed stainless steel in heavy solutions and high temperatures (up to 160 ºC). The experimental device used allows the visualization of the corrosion phenomena on the materials in real-time simultaneously to the electrochemical data acquisition without disturbing the electrochemical system (P200002525 y P200002526).
The results show the influence of temperature on the corrosion behaviour of the alloys: corrosion potential, corrosion current density, passive current density, pitting potential.
In Corrosion Studies at high temperatures and during a project of Agencia Española de Cooperación Internacional, there is collaboration with the Laboratory Corrosion-Electrochimie in the University Mohammed V-Agdal and the Professor A. Guenbour.
