Line 10. Ion exchange membranes
This research line deals with the development and application of ion exchange membranes to the treatment of different effluents with the purpose of the recovery and recycling of different types of compounds. In this line, commercial ion exchange membranes and ceramic ion exchange membranes developed by the research group are used. This research line also focuses on the study of the transport phenomena of different ions across the membranes.
